Try traditional 2D hand-drawn animation and create a flipbook where brave little forest characters come to life. The activity is suitable for children aged 6 and above. Advance registration is required.

Who says only the biggest and strongest can be heroes? Inspired by the Lithuanian animated film Kirstukų miško pranašystė, participants will join “Animatest” educators to explore traditional 2D hand-drawn animation and create their own flipbooks. Brave little forest characters will come to life on the pages as participants try their hand at the same animation technique used to create the film itself.

Age: 6 and above. Parents are welcome to take part together with their children.

Participation: free of charge.

Places are limited and advance registration is required.

The workshop will be led by “Animatest” – a unique artist-led educational initiative dedicated to the art of animation, developing the skills of a new generation of animators while promoting animation culture across Lithuania. More information: animatest.lt or @anima_test.
